Prickle Community Acupuncture is based on a concept that acupuncture should be accessible to everyone. It should be affordable and explained in terms that people understand. It is too effective and too helpful to be only available in private clinics for the enlightened. It is effective across all demographics, and is not dependent on education, income, cultural background or beliefs.

Prickle is taking the next step and incorporating into a Non-Profit organisation. We are currently seeking expressions of interest for Board Members.

We are particularly looking for professionals who can advise us in the following sub-committees:

    * Corporate law, particularly regarding not-for-profit structures
    * Community health and community development
    * Marketing and fundraising
    * Not-for-profit advocacy and grant applications
    * Accounting and bookkeeping
    * Clinical research (acupuncture, Chinese medicine, public health, chronic disease management)

We are looking for active and passionate people who want to help integrate acupuncture into community health.

The expected work and time commitment is not large and will be guided by availability. Board members will be valued for their advice and expertise, administration and implementation will be handled by practitioners. Board members will be expected to attend the AGM and the meetings of at least one sub-committee.
